Woman caught ‘buzzing’ around town

RIVERTON, Wyo. – We’ll start this morning with a follow-up to news broadcast yesterday.

Riverton police reported that a 27-year-old Riverton woman driving around town Monday afternoon was apparently high on a combination of marijuana and Dust-Off. That’s the compressed air sold in spray cans that people use to dust off things like computer key boards.

She was caught by police after losing control of her car near the intersection of Monroe and Federal Boulevard and running into a car. They charged Charlene Brown with driving under the influence, use of both a controlled substance and toxic substance, resisting arrest and failure to stop for an accident.

Police said she drove off after swerving and side-swiping the vehicle as she tried to make the corner of Federal from Monroe, ultimately stopping because her car got hung-up on a curb. That was around 4:30 that afternoon.

Police also said she admitted to inhaling the Dust-Off to get a high. That’s called huffing. Then about 10 grams of loose marijuana was found in the ash tray. No one was hurt in the incident, but both vehicles sustained what police called “major” damage. Alcohol abuse did not seem to be a factor in the crash.

She did have a passenger with her — a 17-year-old female from Riverton. She was charged for use of a toxic substance. That would be the Dust-Off.

Was it “Yucatan Fire” they had?
Cause the THC ladened marijuana is only about 1/8 the strength of Yucatan Fire.

From what I understand, “the substance is considered “a synthetic cannabinoid” and ‘is reportedly up to 800 times stronger than marijuana’” … but very dangerous.

The crash was proof of the results.

Dude! It was “Dust Off” and pot. I was kidding around with the misspelling of the word gram. Are you high?

I’m going off the story as reported:
“They charged Charlene Brown with driving under the influence, use of both a controlled substance and toxic substance, resisting arrest and failure to stop for an accident”

Whether the THC ladened marijuana is only about 1/8 the strength of Yucatan Fire 800 x stronger than THC … both do alter the state of mind.
(… apparently high on a combination of marijuana and Dust-Off)
Yucatan Fire & Marijuana have the effect and hard to differentiate.
And no, I’m not high … but, want others to be aware of Yucatan Fire.
