Flood warning in effect in south central Wyoming

ENCAMPMENT, Wyo. (AP) – A flood warning is in effect in parts of
south central Wyoming.
The National Weather Service says quickly melting mountain snow
raised the level of the Encampment River to 7 feet Monday morning.
That’s slightly higher than the summer of 2008 when minor flooding
occurred between Encampment and Riverside.
Minor flooding has been reported at the Lazy Acres Campground
and across County Road 680 and Baggot Rocks Road.
Tributaries of the Encampment River, including North Brush Creek
and Cow Creek, were also running high.
