Paving begins northwest of Greybull
Press Release: August 31
From the Wyoming Department of Transportation
Asphalt paving is scheduled to begin this week on the $5.6 million highway improvement project northwest of Greybull on U.S. 14-16-20.
Weather permitting, paving will be conducted between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. five days a week.
“Traffic will be controlled with the use of a pilot vehicle,” said Ben Steed, Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer in Basin. “Paving is expected to take most of September to complete.” McGarvin-Moberly Construction Company of Worland is the prime contractor.
The Greybull Northwest project is connected to the Greybull streets project that was built in 2008. It begins just north of the Greybull town limits, and extends northwest past the junction of U.S. 14-16-20 and U.S. 310.
