Marshall D. Brasel

Funeral Services for Marshall D. Brasel, 61 of Lander will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Monarch Room at the Pronghorn Lodge with Carl Poison as Speaker. Visitation will be held from 5-7 on Thursday, at the Hudson’s Funeral Home in Lander. Burial will take place at the Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Brasel passed away in Lander on May 1, 2011.
Marshall Brasel was born on January 20, 1950 to Voris and Anna (Zowada) Brasel in Riverton, Wyoming. He graduated from Lander Valley Vocational High School in 1968. After high school, he attended the Casper College and University of Wyoming. He was united in marriage to Melissa Livingston at Lander in 1972. The couple had two children; Tara and Adam. Marshall was a draftsman for Associates West, and was also the owner and operator of Dairyland in Lander, he held various jobs in the Lander area over the years. On January 17, 1987 he was united in marriage to Debbie Olsen in Lander where the couple was currently residing at the time of his death. Marshall spent the past several years pursing his passion for cars and speed. He remained busy building street rods, remodeling and refurbishing street rods and antique cars and his latest passion was racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Marshall had numerous friends that were a very important part of his life.
Marshall is survived by his wife, Debbie of Lander, his Daughter Tara Ann (Andrew) Skiba, of Lander and his son Adam Marshall (Shaylynn) Brasel of Lander, one sister Arlene Petro, of Charleston, West Virginia and two grandchildren; Hailey and Emily Skiba of Lander.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
