UPDATE: Work resumes on Togwotee Pass

DUBOIS, Wyo. – Road construction resumes today after a Labor Day holiday break on Wyoming’s Togwotee Trail to Yellowstone over the Continental Divide. Crews were scheduled to report back to work this morning at 7 on U.S. 26/287. They’re working on the last 8-mile stretch of the pass rebuild between Dubois and Moran Junction that’s been under construction for the past several years.

DUBOIS, Wyo. – Travelers may also appreciate this following notice from the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

News Director Leslie Stratmoen caught this shot of workers on Togwotee Pass.

The Togwotee Trail to Yellowstone over the Continental Divide will be open to through traffic with no delays for construction through the Labor Day holiday weekend.

That means construction crews working on the last 8-miles of the road rebuild of U.S. 26/287 between Moran Junction and Dubois are taking a break.

Work on the road will stop at 4 Friday afternoon and resume the Tuesday morning at 7.
