Men flee after shooting cow

RIVERTON, Wyo. — Local authorities are looking for two men responsible for shooting a cow Sunday afternoon on private land in the South Muddy area of Fremont County, Wyoming, near Pavillion.

The two men were seen jumping out of their vehicle and firing several rounds at a running deer. It was one of those rounds that hit the cow, which had to be euthanized. Witnesses say the men fled the area driving a Ford pickup, 1980s or 1990s model.
