Chairman Wendell Manka said they meet the first and third Monday of the month at 11 in the morning at City Hall, and the public is welcome to attend.

He said they’ve already decided that rather than spend this year’s revenue on just one big project, they want the city to spread the funds around by fixing the many crumbling curbs, gutters and streets throughout town. The city leaders have already acted on that recommendation by hiring the engineering firm of Inberg Miller of Riverton to design and manage the work at a cost of $52,000.

The chairman went on to say he and the other committee members are taking their duties very seriously and plan to hold the city leaders accountable, as their committee name seems to imply – FORCC. It stands for Fix Our Roads Citizens Committee.
