Submitted by Newsroom on May 16, 2013 – 1:13 pmNo Comment

‘Let’s Talk Business’ is a special feature of KVOW’s Chit Chat with News Director Leslie Stratmoen that kicks-off Friday shows. The segment is open to anyone who works in Fremont County and was added as a way to introduce listeners to the people who work in our community. The spot is not connected to advertising and just takes a call to the newsroom to schedule a date. That number is 856-2251.

The Chit Chat show airs live weekday mornings, from 8-9 mst, and is broadcast throughout Fremont County, which includes the towns of Riverton, Lander, Dubois and those on the Wind River Indian Reservation. The show also streams live on the Internet. Selected segments made into news stories air on stations throughout the state when picked up by the Cowboy State News Network.

Chit Chat is one of the state’s top-rated news talk radio shows covering local, state and national issues. The show, with Leslie Stratmoen as host, continues its four-year winning streak by bringing home a first-place finish for 2012 in the news talk radio show category for small market radio at the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters convention in Gillette. The show also placed first in 2010 and took second in 2009 and 2011.
