Miriam Elizabeth Crymble passed away on May 2, 2013 at her home in Evanston, WY. She was 92.
Born on July 4th, 1920, in Salida, Colorado, the daughter of Lloyd and Esther (Johnson) Sage, Miriam graduated from high school there. She married W.H. “Hugh” Crymble on November 30, 1939 in Salida. They made their home in Cheyenne for 10 years where they had three children, Bill, Ken, and Ruth.

Miriam and Hugh moved their young family to Pavilion WY in 1949 where they owned and operated the Pavillion Garage until 1960. The family moved to Riverton WY in 1960. Miriam worked as a dental assistant with Dr. Harold Macon for many years, where she enjoyed her service to Dr. Hal and their patients until she retired in 1982. Never one to sit still for long, Miriam returned to the workplace where she worked at the Broker Restaurant as hostess and bookkeeper and later for Guthrie Jewelry as a sales clerk.

Remembered by many for her sense of adventure, smiles, and caring service to others, Miriam was active in the Riverton United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities including the United Methodist Women’s group. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Daughters of the Nile.

She will be remembered for her dedication to family and sharing her time and leadership talents with others. She enjoyed reading, playing bridge and pinochle, crocheting and spending time with her family. Miriam’s grandchildren and great grandchildren have special memories of camping trips and special outings with their Grandma and Grandpa.

Miriam was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Crymble and her parents. Survivors include sons William L. “Bill” Crymble and wife Judy of Clay Center KS; Kenneth K. “KC” Crymble and wife Sandy of Lincoln, MT; and daughter Ruth E. Dahlman of Evanston WY; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her sister Virginia Smith of Thermopolis WY; and Robert Sage of Centennial, CO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Uinta Home Health/Hospice (Evanston WY), Kalif Shrine Travel Fund or to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of the Davis Funeral Home, in Riverton WY.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30, Sat. July 13th at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
