(Cody) – An adult male grizzly bear has been trapped and relocated for killing cattle north of Pinedale.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says the bear was released in the Mormon Creek Drainage about 5 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National park, which is occupied grizzly habitat.
Bear relocation is used by state and federal wildlife officials to avoid future conflicts and maximize survival potential.
