24 SQUARE MILE FIRE

(Cheyenne) — Wyoming’s largest wildfire, the Hardluck fire between Dubois and Cody, now covers more than 24 square miles.
That fire has been burning in the Shoshone National Forest since it was started by lightning July 17th.
It is being allowed to burn.
Other smaller fires that are also buringing in Wyoming including the 200-acre Snake Fire near the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park, the 400-acre Packer Creek Fire between Bondurant and Daniel, and the 540-acre Green Fire north of Pinedale.
