Crack Sealing Begins

(Riverton) — Crack sealing and other work on more than 136 miles of highway in central and northwest Wyoming is underway and drivers should expect traffic delays of up to ten minutes in the work zones.

Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Robert Scheidemantel says the Gas Hills Road east of Riverton is being worked on now then the crew will move to U.S. 26-287 between Diversion Dam and Dubois.

In 2014, Highway Improvements, Inc. of South Dakota will work on Wyoming 789 between Riverton and Lander, Wyoming 28 over South Pass, Wyoming 134 near Pavillion and Wyoming 132 near Ethete.

After that, the contractor will be working in Wind River Canyon and on highways in the Big Horn Basin.
