Midwest: The Midwest Oilers scored with just 23 seconds left Friday night to take the game away from the Rams and now find themselves in the 6Man Championship game in Laramie on Saturday against Meeteetse.

In a game that saw Dubois lead 28-12 after the first quarter, 34-24 at the half and 48-31 at the end of three….would then shock most fans of the Rams as the Oilers found a way to score three touchdowns in the final 2 minutes and 8 seconds to come from behind and win the game.

With the Rams out front 62-44 with 3:14 left on the clock the Oilers had to figure out away to score three times, and they did. The first score came with 2:08 to play and the scoreboard changed to Dubois 62 Midwest 50, after going 4 and out the Oilers got the ball back and with :39 seconds left on the clock Cam Ray hit his receiver in stride on a 48 yard pass play to get the score to 62-56 pending the xtra point which was tossed in and it was now a 5 point game 62-57.

The Oilers would use an onside kick and get the recovery and score two plays later on a 24 yard pass play and  and go for 1 and get it and it was now 64-62 in favor of the Oilers with just :23 seconds left for the Rams.

Dubois season now would depend on getting in the endzone from their own 35 yard line with little time on the clock. They would get 4 chances to move the ball first was a run, then a pass attempt that was broken up and the other missed completely.

With just 1.1 secs left on the clock Baker would throw a long pass( all he had) and it would hit Hawk in the finger tips and fall to the ground and the game was over and so was the chance to defend their State Title.
