(Cheyenne) – Thirteen bridges on highways in Fremont, Big Horn, Hot Springs, Park and Washakie counties will be rehabilitated as part of a $2.9 contract awarded to a Utah company by the Wyoming Transportation Commission.

The work is funded by increased fuel tax revenue.

Lander’s Patrick Construction also received a $1.7 million contract to replace two aging timber bridges on Wyoming 132 south of Ethete.

The bridges at Mill Creek and Coolidge Canal are more than 60 years old and will be replaced with steel and concrete structures.

The commission awarded contracts totaling over $24 million for 12 projects around the state at it’s April meeting.
