(Opal/AP) – Residents and emergency crews are waiting for a fire to burn itself out after an explosion at a natural gas procession plant at Opal in southwestern Wyoming.

No injuries were reported in yesterday’s explosion, which resulted in the evacuation of the entire town of about 95 people.

Gas from the plant serves a huge number of customers across the west and as far east as Ohio.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the blast or when residents might be allowed to return home.
