Wet Nosed Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Annie Mae the dog and Charlie the dog!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

Annie Mae was found loose in town.  At first she was extremely shy but she has warmed up and has turned into a friendly girlie with a wagging tail.  Annie Mae is good with the other dogs and loves people.  One of her first days as an official LPC dog, she went in a car with another, larger dog and then on a play date at the pond up the street from us.  We think Annie is a pointer mix, and was born around July1, 2013.  She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and her adoption fee is $85.

Charlie was found all by himself near Ray Lake and although he came with a blue collar no one reported him missing or claim him from the posts trying to find his home.  Trying to get a good picture of Charlie was no easy feat because he was very happy and more interested in checking out LPC than sitting still!  We think Charlie is a lab/hound mix and about one year old.  He is in a foster home and is learning basic manners and how to walk on a leash.  Charlie has been vaccinated and neutered and his adoption fee is $85.  If you are interested in meeting him, please email us at to arrange for an appointment.

From Riverton “Paws for Life” here’s Ubu the dog and Many Kittens!

Call Paws for Life at 857-6002 or online at

Ubu is a 1 year old shepherd mix who is extremely smart and was potty trained with a dog door in a day! He is very loyal and while in a foster home he become his foster moms shadow, never leaving her side.

This is just one if the many adorable kittens up for adoption at Paws! All vaccinated, spayed or neutered, de wormed and micro chipped!
