(Riverton) – SageWest Health Care facilities, formerly operating as Lander Regional Hospital and Riverton Memorial Hospital, were recognized by Mountain-Pacific Quality Health and the Wyoming Department of Health for achieving excellence in infection prevention.

SageWest CEO Steve Erixon says the hospitals are extremely proud of their continuous records and the zero infection rates are a testament to the dedication of all team members to provide quality care.

SageWest Health Care is demonstrating its dedication to reducing healthcare associated infections by exceeding national goals and achieving zero infections.

Wyoming hospitals consistently have fewer infections than predicted by the National Healthcare Safety Network and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
