Seat Belts Save Lives

Submitted by rebecca on June 4, 2014 – 2:41 pmNo Comment

(Cheyenne) – One vehicle rollovers where the occupants are not seat belted continue to be the most common type of crash in Wyoming resulting in serious injury or death.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says modern vehicles are designed to withstand fairly violent damage while maintaining a passenger compartment which will allow occupants to survive provided they remain in the vehicle during a crash.

That’s what seat belts are designed to do.

Please buckle up Wyoming.
