High Water In Dubois

Submitted by rebecca on June 5, 2014 – 12:06 pmNo Comment

High water is continuing to plague the upper country around Dubois and the water is beginning to recede somewhat, according to Fremont County Emergency Management Director Kathi Metzler.

“Unless we get a thunder cell with rain in the wrong area, we should be out of danger by this weekend in Dubois, ”  Metzler said Wednesday afternoon.  ”We are monitoring the river gauges.  The flood warnings are still in effect just in case.”

Earlier this week, Joe Brandl and the Dubois Boy Scouts were out sandbagging several residences just south of the Town Park along the Wind River.
