Groundwater Studies

Cheyenne (AP) – State officials say they’re finishing up two studies into the cause of groundwater pollution in a central Wyoming gas field.  They plan to allow independent experts, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and gas field owner Encana to review the reports before publicly releasing them.  Meanwhile, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality plans to resample groundwater and meet with residents of the Pavillion area next week.
