(Riverton) – A pair of asphalt pavement improvement projects are under way on Wyoming Highway 28 over South Pass.
Wyoming Department of Transportation engineer Erik Smith says those driving between Lander and Farson should expect traffic delays.
Pavement leveling is underway on a 15-mile stretch of the highway in the area of the old U.S. Steel Mine, then prime contractor McGarvin-Moberly will work on another 10 miles in the area of the Sweetwater River Rest Area.
Combined, the projects are worth more than 7 million dollars.
