Bio: Brian Arner son of Ed and our nephew was Second Class Petty Officer as Aircrew Survival Equipmentman. He served for “Operation Enduring Freedom” on the USS Theadore Roosavelt carrier from 2001-2002 for Afganistan and “operation Iraqi Freedom’ on USS Enterprise 2003-2004 with continued support through 2006 when he was honorably discharged. Bio: #7579107. Served on the USS LST 694 in the Pacific. Served from Dec. 1943 to Apr. 1946. Picked up the ship from Norfolk VA. Went down the Ohio River And Mississippi, Went through the Panama Canal and out to the Pacific. They sailed as far south as Austrilia and north to Okinawa. Was in the Battle of Leyle. After the war went to Wis. left to find work and ended up in SD. There he met his wife Cerella Denke and they married Sept. 3rd, 1953 Edwin passed away Dec. 2009.

Bio: This dedication is for Lance Corporal Chance R. Phelps who gave his life for our country on April 9, 2004 in Iraq.  We salute him and all of our military, and thank them for their sacrifices on our behalf.

Bio: Corporal Hugh L. Otte, of Lander served in the 115th Calvary of the Wyoming National Guard from 1940-1943 during World War II.  Otte was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington where he served as a mechanic.

Bio:Thomas E. Gustin, of Jeffery City was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1950-1955.  Gustin received several awards including the Bronze Star, Army Occupation Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.

Bio: Clifford Henry is a Crow Heart-area rancher who served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1970-1976.  Henry received 9 commendations for his service including the Bronze Star and the Air Medal.

Bio: Romer D. Washakie of Ft. Washakie, served aboard an Aircraft Carrier in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1961.  Washakie participated in activities related to the Vietnam conflict prior to the United States’ official involvement.

Bio: Stuart was a “life” boy scout who went on to be a “Harrier Jet” mechanic.  Stuart served in both Iraq & Afghanistan.  He was an embassy guard in Damascus, Syria at the time of the death of his brother Nicholas Noyes Galloway.

Bio: Drew is an amazing father, husband and friend. He served in the United States Navy from 2003 to 2010. We are all so proud of him.

Bio: My husband, Alvin J. Witzel is a Veteran of the war in Vietnam. Al was in the Navy. His ship was the USS Ingersol. He was a signalman on the Ingersol. His Naval career included three tours of duty in Vietnam, he spent some time in Naval Intelligence and was in the Shore Patrol. Al was a Petty Officer Second Class when he was honorably discharged in 1972. Al is a great guy and I am very proud that he served our Country with Honor.

It was hard when he was gone and I was sad, but he came home safe. Now he is back at work and is still in the Army. My dad is great! We still pray for him!
